We begin the manufacture of your beautiful terrace in a totally artisanal way in a standard or personalized format and with the finishes that you like the most. Once done, we will take it to your chosen location.

We prepare the space where your garden will be located, we clean, level the ground and install the terrace. We then set up the irrigation system.

We fill the deck with four levels of plant drainage and a recipe of organic materials, soil and compost. Thus obtaining a very fertile and productive cultivating space, leaving it ready to sow.

We start planting seedlings of vegetables, flowers and aromatic plants. Considering your consumption habits at all times. We will do the first planting together so you can see how easy it is with our terraces.

What are our terraces like?

At Hortànima we have developed a very special cultivation terrace.

Handcrafted with heat treated wood for outdoor user with interior moisture insulation. With reinforcements and anti-deformation tensioners that give it great resistance. We pay particular attention to the finishes and aesthetics of the terrace.

The cultivation soil is composed of 4 layers of plant drainage, earth and organic compost. A formula that brings great fertility to the land and allows planting by density.

Main advantages of our Raised earth beds

Maximum production with very little: The high fertility of the composted soil we prepare, takes advantage of every inch of growing space, producing a large number of plants in a small space.
Personalized bed height: makes the work easier for people with reduced mobility and avoids uncomfortable positions that lead to physical problems.
No need for tillage: the composition of the crop layer that we prepare with a density sowing, avoids the soil from being compacted.
Semi-watertight insulation of the plant environment: prevents the appearance of persistent weeds under the bed.
Physical and biological barriers against unwanted insects: the exterior of the terraces is reinforced by an application of insecticide which repels and prevents, to a large extent, the visit of snails or slugs, among others.
Land fertilized by surface: the compost is applied on the surface without mixing the soil since the irrigation system takes care of transferring it by exudation.
Automatic irrigation system: With a timer in order to forget about watering and optimize water consumption, adjusting the amount needed for each time of the year.
Irrigation by exudation tubes: for a uniform irrigation system over the entire terrace, this maintains the humidity of the soil and the compost to disolve over the entire surface.

Planting by density

Our easy-to-grow flower beds combine a density planting system with a recipe of plant materials, soil and compost, generating a small ecosystem of aromatic plants, flowers and organic vegetables of excellent quality
